Dr. Marcuz is a board certified clinical audiologist. She holds her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Central Michigan University and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She also holds her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Marcuz has worked as an audiologist in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice clinics, university speech and hearing clinics, hospital settings, and hearing conservation programs for industry. In addition to her experience in audiology, she spent several years providing early intervention services to families with young children in Humboldt and Butte counties.

Dr. Marcuz is a fourth-generation Humboldt County native. She graduated from Eureka High in 1989 and from Humboldt State University in 1994. When she is not practicing audiology, she can be found spending time with her family and enjoying the many outdoor offerings of Humboldt and Trinity counties.

Emily graduated with a Master's degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Before coming to Humboldt Audiology, she worked in the social services field for 15 years providing early intervention services to children and families, and managing social service programs in a variety of non-profit and governmental agencies. Emily grew up in the colorful Mojave Desert in Southern California. She speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys getting to know the patients and providing them with the best in personal service.

Lisa DeBeni is our office assistant. She was born and raised in Eureka. Before coming to Humboldt Audiology, she was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, enjoying time with her two children. Prior to having children she worked for California State Auto Association, Eureka Pediatrics, Bank of Loleta, and St. Joseph Hospital.

Daisy is a two-year-old Norwich Terrier. Officially, she belongs to Lisa, but we have all adopted her as our own. She works part time at Humboldt Audiology in the customer care department receiving lots of scratches under the chin and pats on the head. When she's not at work, she loves going to the beach, playing with her friends, and chasing cats.
